Streamyx Email Login Problem
Some of us might be getting problem logging in to our email account these past 1,2 months. Common problem is that we just forgot the email login password. Another cause is that when we change our password last time for Streamyx at the account management site, we didn’t change all of the password, because Streamyx has 2 password , one is for email account , the other is for broadband account.
Some of the user also have been temporarily suspended , normally for excessive email spamming activity in that account. And recently, for those that have been using the default password for email account, that default password might have been changed by TMnet. This are one of the steps taken to prevent unwanted people from easily accessing your email account since the default password have been used for a long time and can be easily guessed. These compromised email sometimes is used for email spamming tactics and can get the legit user to be in trouble with the ISP.
If after a few tries but you still can’t access your email account, you can try to go to this streamyx email website to check your current password, CHECK STREAMYX EMAIL PASSWORD. This is for users that have been using the previously default tmnet password. You need to include in the box, your email address (eg username@streamyx.com) and the registered I/C number (eg 770112111234). Then after pressing submit, your new password would be displayed.
If the steps above still can’t give you the new password, i advise you to just call the 100 number. They will then check for that account status, do some troubleshooting and can reset the password for you. If the problem is still not resolved, you can ask them to do a report to forward it to their email admin department for further investigation, but it will take some time , estimated 2-3 working days (as usual).
