Matched.co.uk Does Pay
Another way to monetize your website, Matched.co.uk, a UK based company. It isn’t like Google Adsense which automatically displays ads to your content, rather they will pick your site matching the advertiser, hence the name. I seldom see people mentioning them and so i think it might be worthwhile to do a post.
Publishers will be paid in pound sterling (GBP), which can convert nicely to USD. You are allowed to submit 5 domains per account with up to 5 pages on it to display the ads. Every publisher will be paid £3/month for every page selected. Their spiders will check regularly for displayed ads, and if they cant detect the ads 7 times in 1 month in a particular page, you might get the terminated, only the ads, not the account. The ads format looks like Google Adsense with visible borders but Matched.co.uk gave an assurance that it wouldn’t violate Adsense TOS.
On personal experience, i’ve just had my first payment from them through Paypal. The payment was fast and prompt. Although i had some difficulty in getting ads on some of my sites due to my sites niche doesn’t match what the current publisher are looking for. I had to wait like 3,4 weeks to get 1. But from what i can see is Matched.co.uk accepts any sites with any PageRank and little traffic. I think you will have better chance at getting an ad faster if you are submitting the generally popular niche among advertiser, namely:
- Finance
- Business
- Insurance
- Debt
- Dating
- Health
- Real Estate
- Lega

as for the prove, here is a screenshot from my payment.
I’m not proud about the blog that got approved since it’s crap, using PLR content and forgotten by me. I did the basic noobie thing at that time. What i chunk in there are a lot of investment, online trading and stocks articles. they approved me for a debt related ad.
The categories in the post are the suggestions i get in their email after a few of my websites gets rejected.
As for affiliates, i don’t have it yet since i did not promote them previously. I was still testing whether i can get a payment first.
But i believe from their FAQs, you will get your commission after their ads are live and running for 1 month.
Just registered using your link. hope it will work out somehow because mysite doesn’t has any particular niche. Just a combination of blog with different niche.

fath : i think it is much easier to get an ad if you have a certain niche preferably the ones that i’ve posted. Concentrate on these Finance, Business, Insurance, Debt and Health. Even this blog, SlowStreamyx, couldnt get an ad since it was mostly about computer and internet.
